ФИТНЕС И БОДИБИЛДИНГ. ЮНИВЕРС.

Турнир по бодибилдингу НАББА ЮНИВЕРС (NABBA UNIVERSE ), проводиться неформальным обьединением НАББА Англии и является старейшим в Мире (проводиться с 1948 года). Его абсолютными чемпионами становились такие культуристы как Стив Ривс, Билл Перл, Рег Парк, Арнольд Шварценеггер, Френк Зейн, Сергей Огородников и другие известные имена. Атлеты в НАББА ЮНИВЕРСЕ разделены на ростовые и возрастные категории. В Латвии нет ни одного атлета, носящего титул "МИСТЕР ЮНИВЕРС" по бодибилдингу.
В 2000 году, в связи с массовым развитием такого нового направления как фитнес, под патронажем вице-президента НАББА Клауса Хофмана (по согласованию с НАББА, и с присутствием президента НАББА Айвана Данбара) и президента ВФФ Эдмундаса Даубараса, стартовал новый ВФФ ФИТНЕС ЮНИВЕРС (полное название - THE FITNESS UNIVERSE). Спортсмены делились на категории: классика, фигура, атлетика и супер-атлетика (бодибилдинг остался у НАББА). Именно на первом ФИТНЕС ЮНИВЕРСЕ абсолютной нашей МИСС ЮНИВЕРС стала Марина Буринская.
В последующем, абсолютных побед на ФИТНЕС ЮНИВЕРСЕ добивались следующие латвийские атлеты: Юрий Картесян (супер-атлетика) и Юля Кукина (аэробика).

К сожалению, в начале 2000 годов, многочисленными прохиндеями, значение титула МИСТЕР И МИСС ЮНИВЕРС резко ассимилировалось. Толпы торговых барыг, впаривающих свои порошки доверчивым простофилям, и жуликоватых аферистов быстро смекнули, как им заманить на свои местечковые варки, жаждущих дешёвого популизма (можно писать раздельно) беспринципных субьектов тренирующихся с железом - надобно просто в наглую спереть десятилетиями раскрученный Уважаемыми Атлетами бренд и всё: с жужжанием и пуская по ветру слюни, аферисты-"чимпиёны" полетели за фантиками к аферистам-барыгам. Число подобной лажи в Мире - сотни ежегодно и количество прохиндеев растёт в геометрической прогрессии.

Конечно, в этом разделе мы не будем трогать подобных фуфлыжников, и будем писать только о настоящих чемпионах и призёрах UNIVERSE.

TWO WORLD CHAMPIONS ARE COMING TO THE UNIVERSE!

Dear Mike

Of course I want to be there to support your first
adventure in North America. I talked to Fernanda and
Yamila and they both have accepted to compete in your
Universe show.

I will cover it in my magazine and I will promote it
in the previous issue.
I offered you the centerfold or the cover for the
winner girl you decide plus covering the whole event
in my magazine. We can also add an interview of the
winner and an invitation (paying her the ticket and
stay) to be a posing guest in a show in November in
Argentina.

It is a big bet to me because I am risking the
reputation of my two girls despite of the fact that
they will go on their best possible shape, but you
deserve my support as a friend.

We have waited on travel and Visa information for over two weeks from NAMMAE and I know many athletes are getting impatient. We have called the travel agent and they said they will have something by tonight. I will send as soon as they do. Sorry for the delays.
In the meantime, we are getting all scheduled information out for all classes. Many Women and Men in the USA are confused about the WFF-WBBF European judging standards so we are using American Standard Judging. (American weight, age or height classes for judging). Note: Some classes will not be judges by the WFF-WBBF. 2008 WFF WBBF- Open- Novice and Teen Universe® Championships.
