REGULATIONS OF 
OPEN CUP‘S CONTEST OF THE BALTIC STATES OF BODYBUILDING AND FITNESS 2011


                       I. The program of the contest :
1.Open Cup‘s Contest of  the Baltic States of Bodybuilding and Fitness.

II. The aim of the contest: to popularize bodybuilding and fitness among Lithuanian people, to help sportsmen to prepare better for European and World Championships and show foreign sportsmen Lithuania and its beauty.

III. The organizers of the contest: the Federation of Lithuanian Bodybuilding and Fitness.

    IV. The place of the contest: the contest will take place at Cultural Centre of Jonava Town, Zeimiu St. 15, Jonava, Lithuania on the 22nd October (Saturday), 2011.
    V. Applications to the contest: the supervisors of teams have to send the copy of contest participants’ application and the list of trainers and judges by mail, fax or e-mail till the 05th October, 2011. They will have to lay the originals at the day of contest during registration. The application has to be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS, exactly indicating name, surname, age and category.

    VI. The registration of contest participants: the registration will take place on the stage at the contest hall since 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. When the sportsman is registering, his team leader has to be in person and has to lay the original of the application. The registration of the participants is accomplished by the judge-secretary Algirdas Aldukevicius and the chairman of the college of the judges Paulius Stankevicius or another representative appointed by the association.
    Every participant fills in the form of participant and gives it during registration.

    During the registration the participant has to:
•    Be with performance attire;
•    Have passport or ID card;
•    Have the music record on the CD (the CD has to be laid in its case, the case has to have a tag with the participant name, surname, the number of the musical record, the order of its launch (on the stage or before the stage) and the name of the team. The organizers of the contest are not responsible neither for the quality of musical records nor inadequate record format.

If team consists of more than two sportsmen, the team has to present the qualified judge of contest.

Note: one team member can participate only in one age category.

    VII. Categories of contest:

1.    Miss Fitness absolute category;
    Note: participant has not to exceed requirement “weight=height – 112”

2.    Classic Bodybuilding absolute category;
                 Note: participant has not to exceed requirement “weight=height – 95”

3.    Junior Bodybuilding  absolute category (born in 1988 and younger);

4.    Miss Figure absolute category;

5.    Men Bodybuilding absolute category;

6.    Miss Fitness Model category.

Junior Miss Fitness and veteran sportsmen participate in grown-up absolute categories.

Note: The winners of categories, qualify for WFF/NABBA the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship if the level of sportsman preparation meets the requirements of this contest. This note is void for the winner of Miss Fitness Model category.
    VIII. The contest:

VIII.1. Selection part – the beginning of the contest at 11:30 a.m. The participants are let into the contest hall with the participant numbers; the judges, leaders of the teams, trainers – with accreditation cards, which will be given at the registration. (Those who will not have the permissions will be able to watch the contest after acquiring the tickets 15 Lt/5 EUR).
The order of the categories performance with exact time will be given in the contest place.

The sequence of the contest for Bodybuilding and Miss Figure categories:
•    Individual free posing;
•    The comparison of proportions (anatomical stance), mandatory posing.

The sequence of the contest for Fitness categories:
•    The comparison of proportions (anatomical stance), mandatory posing.
•    Individual free posing.
Note: The sportsmen are prohibited to clench their dukes, when they are posing.

Mandatory poses for Man Bodybuilding category:
1.    double biceps front;
2.    chest-double latissimus spread front;
3.    side, chest, biceps and thigh and calf side-on;
4.    side triceps;
5.    double latissimus spread back and calf back;
6.    double biceps and calf back;
7.    abdominal and thighs;
8.    HP – the most muscular;
        Individual posing till 1:30 min.
The priorities of evaluation: proportions, the development of musculature, sporty form, the least number of sportive shortages, the best mandatory posing and individual free posing. Individual free program takes 25 per cent of common score of evaluation.

4.    right side ballet stance;
5.    victory stance back;
6.    double latissimus spread back;
7.    abdominal and thighs;
        Individual posing till 1:30 min.

The priorities of evaluation: proportions, developed musculature but maintained femininity, sporty form, the least number of sportive shortages, the best mandatory posing and individual free posing. Individual free program takes 25 per cent of common score of evaluation. At the time of proportion comparison and pose evaluation, participants wear high-heeled shoes.

Participants of Miss Fitness (classic) category display the stances of proportion comparison and four mandatory poses to estimate sportsmanship:
1.    victory stance front;
2.    right side ballet stance;
3.    victory stance back;
4.    left side chest, biceps.
    Individual routine till 2 min.

The priorities of evaluation:  elegance, gracefulness, proportions, sporty form, the least number of sportive shortages and individual free posing. Individual free program takes 50 per cent of common score of evaluation. At the time of proportion comparison and pose evaluation, participants wear high-heeled shoes.

Participants of Miss Fitness Model category display:

1.    bikini round – the stances of proportion comparison (front, right side, back, left side); 4 free stances to show elegance and gracefulness that are displayed at the word of command – pose № 1, pose № 2, pose № 3 and pose № 4.
2.    evening dress round – participants go to the stage centre, move towards the judges, turn round, return to the stage centre and align there in order of priority. The point of the round of evening dress – the parade of elegance and gracefulness as well as the choice and fitting of evening dress to emphasize the lines of the body.

    VII.2 Final part: begins at 5:00 p.m. Five finalists from each category with performance attire, the team leaders, judges and officials take part in the opening ceremony.
The sequence of categories will be announced in the contest place with accuracy of ±7 minutes.

•    Individual routine;
•    4-5 mandatory poses, pose-down (for viewer);
•    Awards.

The sequence of final performance to Fitness categories:

    VIII.3. Awards: the diplomas of contest indicating the won place will be given for five finalists of each category and the cups will be given for the sportsmen won the prize places. The cups and diplomas of contest will be given for the best sportsmen in Junior Miss Fitness category and veteran bodybuilding sportsmen as well.
    After summarizing these contest results, it will be announced six best trainers. Three best trainers will be awarded cups.
    After summarizing these contest results the best judge will be elected and will be awarded a cup.
                      After the contest, there will be a la fourchette party (buffet).


    IX. General regulations:
•    We ask to send team applications till 05th October 2011 without delay;
•    Any claim from teams that didn’t send early applications will be rejected;
•    Registration and contest will take place according strictly above described sequences and time-limit;
•    Accreditation cards of “Service staff“ in final part do not give right to sitting accommodation.
